Sandra O'Brien, age 74, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at her home. She was born on Thursday, March 29, 1951 to Howard and Wanda Peach Long in Terra Haute, Indiana.

Sandra's life was filled with love, adventure, and simple joys. She adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment she spent with them, always keeping them close to her heart. Sandra had a passion for thrift shopping and could never pass up a great deal, finding joy in the little treasures she discovered. For 10 years, she shared the open road with her husband, Obie, driving 18-wheelers together across all 48 states as well as Canada and Mexico, creating a lifetime of memories. At home, Sandra loved listening to oldies music, with Elvis Presley holding a special place in her heart. Her life was a beautiful blend of family, adventure, and the music that made her soul smile.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Jean Lindner and DeeDee Lindner.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Obie O'Brien of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her daughter, Wanda Spencer of Gun Barrel City, Texas; three grandchildren, Jason Hyder of California, Jeanette Hill of Gun Barrel City, Texas and Crystal Bailey of Abilene, Texas; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

No services are planned at this time with cremation arrangements entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
