Sandra May Presutti

Sandra May (Hall) Presutti, 87, of Beverly, passed away on Saturday October 25th in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lynn to the late Horatio and Bernadette (Wickers) Hall, she graduated from Beverly High School with the Class of 1955. After high school, she worked in retail for many years, including time spent as a sales associate for two fondly remembered institutions, Woolworth's in North Beverly and Grant's Department Store.
Sandra was an avid gardener and enjoyed making floral arrangements for her family table. She was a prolific knitter, donating infant hats to local maternity wards and mittens to local schools. Many babies went home with one of Sandra's hats on and school children had warm mittens to wear in the winter. Sandra was a talented crafter, winning numerous ribbons for her needlework.
She warmed the hearts of everyone she met, often being the first to greet and welcome newcomers.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Robert F. Presutti; one son, Robert V. Presutti; five daughters, Polly J. DiGovani and her husband Robert; Barbara Griffin and her husband Jim; Jackie Gilks and her husband Warren; Anita Rivard and her husband Gary; Lorraine Nugent and her husband David; her beloved cousins Caroline DeBernardi and Melissa Dalton; several precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and countless friends.
In accordance with Sandra's wishes, funeral services are private. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the spring. We will enjoy each other's company and plant her gardens.
