Sandra Joan Schmitt

On 11-14-2023 Sandra J Schmitt gained her wings. She has been reunited with her 7 siblings, and her parents who all passed before her. Born on 3-21-1943, she was 80 years of age. She is survived by her husband John E Schmitt, 1 daughter, Tamara J (Chad Allard), 2 grandkids, and 4 great grandkids. Justin (Jackie, kids, Ethan, Wyatt, and Cheyanne Bader). Sandra was a strong, intelligent and beautiful woman. She was that person who was always there with a shoulder or an ear to celebrate or grieve with you. She and her husband were together 58 years, married 54 years. They were the absolute model of a true loving relationship, one that we should all strive to follow.  They were best friends, and spent every moment together enjoying life, taking their frequent visits to what they called their church, "Church of the Chippawa" casino, and together building the amazing family legacy we have today.  It's because of her, that we possess the strength to try to move forward after our unexpected loss.  She was respected by many, admired by all, and loved beyond measure. There are no words adequate enough to express how we feel. 

There is no service at this time. At some point there will be a celebration of her life as she requested.
