Sandra Sue “Sandy” Weimer, age 79, passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2025 at her home in Mishawaka. Sandy was born on December 16, 1946, to the late Junior Lee and Bernice Pauline Miller. On July 4, 1972, she married George D. Weimer.
George survives, along with her brother-in-law, Larry Dull. Surviving as well are her nieces Denise Calhoun and Bonnie (Darin) Emerson, and her nephew, Robert Hootman II. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wanda Dull.
A private Graveside service will be held in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. Cruz Family Funeral Home of Osceola has been entrusted with her arrangements.
Sandy was a longtime member of St. Paul Episcopal Church. Together, she and George opened their hearts and home to foster numerous children in need. She took great pride in caring for her home and devoted herself to her husband’s needs. Sandy was also a highly accomplished Tupperware sales representative, earning recognition for her success, including a company car for meeting her sales goals.
