Sara Lee Hohne-Hajek, age 75, of Beavercreek, passed away October 24, 2025. Sara was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 11, 1950 to the late Herman Clark and Thelma Hager.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Stanley D. Mitchell.
She is survived by husband, Eugene Hajek; children, William Mitchell, Chandra Hohne and Kira Hohne; grandchildren, Katelynn Mitchell, Liam Mitchell and Bridget Mitchell; great-grandson, Roman Mitchell; as well as her siblings, Brenda, Margie, Harold, Frances, Debbie and Connie.
Sara retired from Wright State University after 25+ years as the Electrical Engineering Lab Manager. She was a member of Red Hat Society for many years.
Sara's gave her life to Christ on May 18, 1969.
In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, quilting, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Sara was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was full of life, laughter and sparkles. Sara could light up a room with her bubbly personality.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Steve Tufts officiating.
