Sara you were there, for me with every call that I made to get help with a trade a transaction or a mistake. I learned so much working side by side with you, I wish I had another opportunity to say thank you. You will be greatly missed by everyone at Wachovia,

I just this evening learned of Sara's passing. Although we were neighbors for three short years we shared many special moments with our love of gardening and good times. I came to think of her as a younger sister and we had many conversations about work, faith and life. It was a joy when she showed up at my back door or called to catch- or check-up. After she moved we still talked, but two months have gone by and I learned of her death checking-in. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and Alex. Rest in peace dear Sara. You will be missed.

I only knew Sara through the telephone at Wachovia. She always found the answer I needed and was a delight to talk to. She brightened my days after the death of my husband in January and now she can brighten his days in Heaven. My sincere prayers for her family. Norita Guild

Dear Family of Sara, I have used Sara in financial dealings for years. I am a widow of three years and before this my husband dealt with her. Her sweet and wonderful voice ecohes in my ears. She was one of God's special peole who helps people and I will certainly miss her even though I never met her. I know if we great people when they go to heaven and my husband heard that she was coming-he would run to greet her. What a gift to all of us who knew her. Mary Jo Kelly-Awad

I moved back to Richmond in '03, into the apartment directly upstairs from Sara's. From then, until she moved out 1-2 years later, she exuded the very qualities you'd hope to find in a neighbor--traits that are becoming increasingly rare. She was very friendly, genuinely caring about her neighbors and the building (she beautified the yard with flowers and made it more of a home than a place to live), and highly trustworthy--I felt better just knowing she lived there. To her family, whom I have never had the pleasure of meeting, I wish you much peace in your grief. Sara is an unforgettable person, and she touched our lives, in my case as a great neighbor who always made me feel good knowing she was there. I am truly sorry that we have lost a fabulous person, and please know that this neighbor will never forget her...

Sara was one of my dearest friends. She was the best roommate a girl could have asked for. I would come home at night to see her vacuming at midnight with her old electrolux vacum cleaner. I also remember the first time I changed the roll of toilet paper (obviously there is a right way and a wrong way). Sara said "we must get one thing straight if we are to live together....the toilet paper always goes over the top of the roll!" I have so many memories like these that I will always cherish. I love her so much and don't know yet how I will get through this life without her. I will miss her terribly and will look forward to the time I reach heaven to see her again.

To the family of Sara,
I never had the priviledge of meeting Sara, but spoke to her many times with my dealings with Wachovia. The news of her passing brings a cloud of sorrow to my heart. She was always a joy to talk with and I know she would have been a wonderful person to know.
My prayers and thoughts go out to you and yours.

To my beloved cousin Don and all Sara's family: Through my tears I write to tell you that my heart is broken by the devastating loss of Sara, and our sincere sympathy and love goes out to all of you. Sara was the kindest, sweetest person in the world to our son when you guys took him into your hearts and home during that Christmas many years ago. I will never forget how wonderful Sara was to him, and I treasure the picture of her taken during that visit. So you see, we believe she has always been an angel - she has just changed addresses. . . .
