Sarah Nell Lamb, born on January 27, 1946, in Grand Ridge, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. She spent her last moments surrounded by her loving family, a testament to the deep connections she fostered throughout her life.
Sarah was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children, Eric Lamb, Teresa Sowders, Mary Player, and Alan Lamb. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Sarah also leaves behind her sister, Ruth Smith, who held a special place in her heart.
Her husband, Bobby Lamb, predeceased her, along with her parents, Chester and Nellie Jeter, and her brother, Lyvold Jeter. They are remembered with love and fondness.
Throughout her life, Sarah was known for her strong faith and her love for the church. She enjoyed gold panning and had a competitive spirit that shone brightly during family games of Aggravation. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, finding joy in their laughter and shared memories.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Sarah's life will be held 11:00 a.m., April 11, 2025, at Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church in Grand Ridge, Florida.
Sarah will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
