Sarah Matlock Obituary

Sarah was born March 23, 1943 in Indianapolis to her parents, the late Leonard and Helen (Branum) Boswell. She was a 1961 graduate of Center Grove High School. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.
She was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Morgantown. Sarah enjoyed the outdoors by fly tying and fly fishing. She also enjoyed leatherworking, oil painting and working crafts. Sarah's true passion was her family, whom she loved spending time with, especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John R. Matlock, whom she married on April 21, 1968 in Trafalgar. Sarah is also survived by her children, Becky (Anthony) Branscum and Andy (Kim) Matlock all of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Joe (Rachel) Minardo, Tyler (Kali) Branscum, Justin (Adi) Minardo, Hannah Branscum, Meagan (Leah) Matlock, Madison Matlock and John Michael Matlock; great grandchildren, Jack, Tucker, Trace, Lucy, Frankie, Cayson, Maunie, Beckett, Iris, Bohdi & Victor; and best friends, David & Ann Pogue of Nineveh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Pete Boswell, Ann Croucher & Jim Boswell.
The Rev. Vern Snyder will conduct a Celebration of Sarah's Life on Saturday, January 27th at 3 p.m. at the New Beginnings Church, 140 E. Washington Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
Memorial contributions may be sent in memory of Sarah to the New Beginnings Church, 140 E. Washington St. Morgantown, IN 46160.

Sarah was a wonderful neighbor and friend we had many laughs I know she will be deeply missed Joe and I send our condolences to John and the family
