Sarah was blessed with talents that often surpassed expectations, with an amazing array of interests and personal pursuits, as well as the will to keep going and doing what she loved. Sarah touched all she met with her whole heart. She was confident, social, colorful, creative, literate, thoughtful, unconventional, undeterred by cultural expectations and free to do things her own way. She had a zest for life that was celebrated with sass, wit, purple hair, joie de vivre and a practical wisdom that delighted and drew people in. Throughout her life she was beloved by many and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched - forever young.
Sarah was the youngest daughter of the late Frederick Paul and Rebecca Arneson Nause, formerly of Sheboygan. She is survived by Julia and Marc Bellotti of Coto de Caza, CA; Peter Nause of Oregon, WI; Martha Nause and Vanessa Seljeskog of Rio Verde, AZ; Anne Nause of Clinton, MI; Rachel and Neil Lofgren of Bozeman, MT; David Bellotti and Mallory Reulman of Escondido, CA; Rebecca and Marc Lindemann of Ann Arbor, MI; Madlen and Lev Ravkin of Oakland, CA; and Owen Nause-Braun of Aurora, CO.
A Celebration of Life Service and Open House for Sarah is being planned for family & friends on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Olbrich Botanical Garden at 3330 Atwood Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin.
