Sarah Guest Robertson, 90, cherished wife of the late Jack Robertson, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith.
Born in Marietta, SC, she was the daughter of the late John and Rhoda Mae Stroud Guest.
Sarah was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she found solace and strength in her in Lord.
Sarah also found joy in cultivating life through gardening. It was the simple pleasures of nature that was a sanctuary of peace and tranquility for Sarah. She also had a passion for collecting fine china and dishes.
Above all, Sarah's heart belonged to her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her devotion to her precious grandsons knew no bounds, and her love for them illuminated her life with immeasurable joy.
A woman of unwavering faith, family values, and deep roots, Sarah's presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her absence will be deeply felt, leaving a void that cannot be filled. Yet, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She is survived by son, Lee Robertson, and his wife, Janet; daughter, Susan Burke; and grandsons, Curtis Robertson and Nolan Robertson.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John Earl Guest, James Guest, and Broadus Guest; and sisters, Hazel Reeder and Agnes Terell.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15,2024, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with the funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will be held in Mountain View Memorial Park.

I am so sorry to hear of Sarah's passing. She and her siblings were such a big part of many Stroud family gatherings, and with so many wonderful memories.
May see rest in peace.

I loved doing lawn work for her on my spare time after work. Got to know her pretty well and she became closer to me than I could imagine. Sorry to hear of this and prayers for you family.
