It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Schuyler Renee' Lewis, aged 36, who left this world on July 30, 2025, in a tragic automobile accident. Schuyler was born on February 15, 1989, in Abbeville, Louisiana, where she spent her early years and graduated from Abbeville High School in 2007. Schuyler dedicated her professional life to the culinary industry, rising to the position of General Manager at Domino's Pizza in Scott. Her passion for service and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of her work, earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and customers.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and again on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 8:00 AM, then leading into the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow immediately after at St. Paul Cemetery.
Schuyler leaves behind a loving family, including her father, Dwayne “Steve” Lewis; (Cheryl) son, Braxtin Cessac; sisters, Stephanie Payne (James) and Summer Lewis Presley; maternal grandmother, Sally Broussard; step maternal grandfather Roger Stelly; maternal grandfather, Phil Broussard; step-sisters, Kim Richard and Amanda Richard; step-brothers, Chadwick Richard and Kevin Richard (Aimee); her fur babies, Jade, Chop, Charlie, and Scooty, her niece, Khloe, and nephew, Jayvon; step niece, Madison; and step nephew, Matthew; also aunts, uncles, and her extended family at Dominos Pizza.
Schuyler was preceded in death by her mother, Kim Broussard Sonnier; paternal grandmother, Anna Vincent; paternal grandfather, David Lewis, Jr; uncles, Preston Lewis and Demery Trahan; and aunt, Martha Lewis.
In these difficult times, we ask that you keep Schuyler's family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this tremendous loss. Her spirit will forever live on in the memories she created with those she loved.
