David Scott Barlow, 61, of Ada, passed away on March 25, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. Scott was born in Bartlesville, OK to Jack & Sandy Barlow on November 13, 1961. He went to school at Pawnee & graduated high school in 1980. He later graduated from East Central University in Ada & earned his Master's degree. Scott enjoyed being around his friends & family, watching sporting events, cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners, playing cards, & listening to country music. Scott's favorite motto was: "The only disability in life is a bad attitude." Scott is preceded in death by: Burney & Marie Wyre, Edward & Irma Barlow, Jack Barlow, & Cody Barlow. Scott is survived by: Bill & Sandra McAlister, Tim Montgomery & Connie Reed, Jeff & Amanda Barlow, Connie Barlow, John Barlow, Kyle Barlow, Chapman & Kelsey Hancock, Amber Montgomery, & 8 great nieces & nephews. Visitation will be 1pm to 6pm Sunday April 2nd at Poteet Funeral Home in Pawnee, OK. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2pm Monday April 3rd at the Maramec, OK (Odd Fellows) Cemetery with Charles Kaupke officiating. Burial will follow. Services were entrusted to the Poteet Funeral home and Cremation services, Friends can leave a memory for the family at www.poteetfuneralhome.com
