Earl Scott Bentley, beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many passed away on February 9th, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on November 4th, 1969 in Banning, CA to his loving parents Anson Blaine Bentley and Shirley Mae Bentley. Scott leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who knew him.
His wife Aimee was his best friend and the love of his life. Together they created many beautiful memories and shared lots of laughs.
Scott's children Kelsey and Dallen Brooks, Bailee and Jordan Jessop, Skyler and Morgan Bentley, Hannah and Gage Roe, Taylor Bentley, Parker Bentley and Mikai Ricketts, and Grace Reed were the pride of his life. His grandchildren Theo John Roe, Liam Lyon Roe, Weston Scott Bentley, and his grandpup Caliope brought immeasurable joy into his world. Family meant everything to him - he was a caring brother to Lisa Payne, Vickie and Mark Blake, Anson and Karen Bentley, and Nicole Ovalle. He also had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that he treasured dearly.
Scott had an infectious sense of humor that could light up any room; he loved making people laugh. He had a great appreciation for nature's beauty which led him on long drives through scenic landscapes where he found peace and tranquility.
Scott was deeply patriotic - always proud of his country. He enjoyed engaging in meaningful conversations with friends old or new; it didn't take long for anyone around him to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts with him too. Scott possessed remarkable skills as a handyman - building things from scratch gave him an immense sense of satisfaction. Movies were another passion of his - whether it was an action-packed film, a comedy, or a meaningful drama, above all he loved Adam Sandler films the best and is known for quoting one-liners. He also enjoyed camping trips, nights spent sitting around the fire (unusually out of control) were some of the happiest moments for him.
Scott loved watching football he rooted for the Broncos and the Utes. He also loved cars and Ford trucks, the Mustang GT was his favorite of all. He enjoyed going on vacations and was so happy to able to check Hawaii off his bucket list. Scott had a sugar addiction that couldn't be tamed, he'd often remind Aimee not to forget the gummy worms.
