Scott Thomas Collins

Scott Thomas Collins of Freehold passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2022 at the age of 61 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born to Agnes and Arthur Collins, Scott grew up in Manhattan and North Jersey. He was an electrical engineer who worked for Philips Healthcare for 40 years.
A volunteer coach and referee for ten years in Freehold Township, he was an avid fan of soccer, both American and European, and a long-time supporter of the New York Red Bulls. During the season, he could always be found in Section 112 of Red Bull Arena. He also shared his time and talents with the St. Rose of Lima School Board. He loved gardening and auto mechanics and could truly fix anything.
Scott is survived by his loving wife Maria Collins, his sons Eamon and Michael Collins, his future daughter-in-law Dr. Kate Connolly, and his sister Dawn Caufield and her family. He is loved by his mother-, sisters-, and brothers-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Scott's life will be honored at Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in Freehold, NJ at 10:30am on Monday, November 21st. A viewing will be held at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, NJ on Sunday, November 20th, 1-5pm.
