Scott E. Davis, 64 of Streator, passed away after a brief illness, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at his residence.
Scott was born September 8, 1959 in Streator, a son of Gordon and Dolores (Deckard) Davis.
Scott attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School. As a youth scott attended the Methodist Church and later in life attended Central Church of Christ.
Scott had worked for McGrath’s Seafood, Skelgas and Hicks Gas.
Scott greatest joy was his son, Trevor. They enjoyed traveling to Florida and spending time at the beach and Disney, as well as many Caribbean cruises.
He is survived by his son, Trevor Arrington of Quincy; his father, Gordon (Sharon) Davis of Streator; a brother, Jeff (Jane) Davis of North Ft. Meyers, FL; and two nephews, Kyle (Jen) Davis and Jason (Amanda) Davis.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Davis; and a great nephew, Kasen Davis.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life service will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 AM Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
