Raymond "Scott" Freeman, age 36 of Riverdale, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Southern Regional Medical Center.

Scott was born on January 23, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia to Raymond "Jim" Freeman and the late Janice "Lynn" Cromer Freeman. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brandy Young; niece and nephew, Kane Freeman and Grace Freeman; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Scott will be remembered as a devoted servant to his family and friends, always putting the needs of others before his own. A true Crimson Tide fan at heart, he never missed a chance to cheer on his team - Roll Tide! Scott also found great joy and pride in working in lawn care. His love, loyalty, and generosity will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Scott's memory are his daughter, Nevaeh Freeman; father, Raymond "Jim" Freeman (Cindy); siblings and their spouses, Jessica Chitwood, Todd Freeman (Jessica), Danielle Gould (Barry), Megan Freeman; niece, Mackenzie Freeman; nephew, Cooper Gould; grandmother, MawMaw Barron.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 am at Jonesboro Church of God, 9823 South Main Street, Jonesboro, GA with Pastor Robert Ford officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Conner-Westbury Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
