Scott S. Trinks

Scott Trinks, 62, of South Windsor, husband of over 20 years to his devoted love Sheila (Shores) Trinks passed away unexpectedly at Saint Francis Medical Center, surrounded by his family October 1st, 2025.
Born in Hartford March 6th, 1963, the third of the four "Trinks" brothers to the late Irving "Moose" Trinks and his wife Nancy. He lived in South Windsor for his entire life and graduated from South Windsor High School in 1981, where he served as Tri-Captain of the Bobcats Ice Hockey team.
He was employed for over 27 years in expediting at the Purdy Corporation in Manchester, before founding "Trinks Brothers Carpet Care" (also known as "The Steam Team") and "Trinks Trash Removal."
Scott loved to spend time outdoors at his Vermont property, riding his skimobile and four-wheelers regardless of the conditions. He loved spending time with his friends and family. People who knew him will remember and recall his playful and considerate nature, quick wit, unique sense of humor, distinct voice, smile, and how he always had a story for everything. He touched many lives in all of his endeavors.
Along with his loving wife Sheila, he is survived by his mother, Nancy Trinks of Manchester, his three brothers, James Trinks, Ronald Trinks and his wife Cindy Perrault of Vernon and David Trinks of North Brookfield, Massachusetts. Nephews Jared and his wife Jessica, Bryan Trinks, Matthew Trinks and his wife Brianna, Nieces Kaitlyn and her husband Evan, and Jenna Trinks. An aunt, Maria Trinks of East Hampton, CT and an uncle, Edward Jarrow of East Hartford. Many cousins, and countless close friends and business associates.
Funeral arrangements and services will be conducted privately. A public memorial service will be held at Wapping Community Church, 1790 Ellington Road in South Windsor on Saturday, October 11th, at 10:00 a.m.
