Shanna Rene Bellar, 55, Peru, passed away at 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at her residence.
Born April 17, 1970, in Amarillo, Texas, she was the daughter Richard John Jonas, Sr. and the former Esther Rodriquez. She was married James A. Bellar, and he survives.
She enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, reading, and motorcycle riding. She loved listening to music (especially Pearl Jam), and being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, James A. Bellar, Peru; son, J.D. Bellar, Peru; Kathrine Bellar, Peru; and Johnathan Bellar, Peru; five grandchildren, James L. Bellar, Oakley Bellar, Wyatt and Morgan Bellar, and James A. Bellar; two sisters, Jena (Steve) Binney, Washington; and Michelle Jameson, Peru.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard John Jonas, Jr.
In accordance with her wishes, the family will gather privately.
