Sharion Rose Swearer

Sharion Swearer age 81 of Henderson, formerly of Sturgis, passed away on Friday August 16, 2024 at the Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born January 4, 1943 to the late William E. & Maggie Caudill Templeton in Sturgis, KY. Her parents moved across the Trade Water Bridge into Crittenden County where she attended school and graduated Crittenden County High in 1961. When she married she moved to Sullivan then Sturgis. She was a devoted mom, granny, and great granny to many children besides her own. She babysat in her home for over 30 years. She was the owner of Wrights Tax Service for over 40 years. 17 years ago she married Larry Swearer and finished her life in Henderson. She worked at the Answer Center. They attended dances at Gathering Place. She was a member of the Geneva Baptist Church in Geneva, KY. She was a lifelong member at Grangertown Baptist in Sturgis.
She is preceded in death by her parents William E. & Maggie Caudill Templeton. 3 Husbands, Jerry Nicky Wright, Harry Eisenhaur, and Robert Kappert. Son Jerry Kevin Wright in 2020. Daughter Cassandra Yvonne Wright in 1972. 3 Brothers Fred Templeton, James Templeton, and Whitey Templeton. 4 Sisters Lucille Gibson, Barbara Markham, Sandra Beach, and Stella Joice Newsome. Great Grandson Riley Rhodes.

Funeral will be 10 AM on Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY. Bro. Jeff Burke will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.
