Sharon Daniels, age 82, passed away peacefully at home with family present on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born on December 4, 1942, to William Floyd "Bill" Mills and Loyce Helen Mills in Erick, Oklahoma. Sharon married John Daniels on January 23, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were married for 62 years. Sharon retired from the Putnam City School system after 15 + years of cafeteria work.
Sharon loved being a mom and grandma. She enjoyed cooking and serving meals at Cherokee Hills Baptist Church for many years. She also loved to send special hand-written cards to ailing church members. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and doing puzzles. She loved feeding carrots to little rabbits who lived in their back yard. She loved playing all kinds of games with family. Sharon had an incredible memory and could run circles around all of us. She was always very loving and willing to help in any way she could. She will be greatly missed.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mom and dad. She is survived by husband, John Daniels; son, Shawn Daniels; daughter, Angela Spinner; grandsons, Brian, Michael, and Gregory Spinner; great-grandchildren, Jemma, Mason, and Gabriel Spinner; brother, Billy Mills and his sons; and other extended family.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
