Sharon enjoyed listening to French music and loved getting family and friends together by her good cooking.
She is survived by her husband of forty-two, Frank Yancey of Elton; two stepdaughters, Becky Allen and her husband Calvin of Sulphur, and Robin Launsby and her husband Steven of Ball; two sisters, Jeanette Gaspard and Kathleen Broussard both of Lake Arthur; four grandchildren, Logan, Austin, Scott, and Hunter: and six nieces and nephews, Robyn, Jill, Pauline, Laurie, Troy, and Erica.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Alcee and Vernice Fontenot McLean; one sister Ruby Broussard and six nieces and nephews, Blaine and Jude Kibodeaux, and Kimberly, Daniel, and J.R. White.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home of JENNINGS 511 North Cutting Avenue Jennings, La 70546.
