Sharon Kaye "Sherri" Fisher, daughter of Wallace and Lucille Young Sell, was born on July 24, 1946, in Niangua, Missouri, and passed from this life on September 12, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 78 years.
She attended and graduated from Niangua High School in 1964. She was married on May 15, 1964, to the love of her life, Roger Fisher. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2023. She worked as a cashier for Consumer's Markets for several years until 1985, when she and Roger became owners of Fisher Photography. They worked side by side for many years and served countless families. After retirement, she worked as a cook for Lebanon Schools.
Sharon enjoyed car rides, especially to out-of-the-way places, and everything about lake life. She was an avid reader of mostly suspense novels, and never met an atlas she didn't like: she loved maps. Cooking for the family was a special treat for her and she loved more than anything being a wife, mom and grandma. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
As a child, she attended and was a member of Niangua Free Will Baptist Church. It was there she was saved and baptized.
She is survived by: her children: Marc Fisher and wife Pam of Lebanon; Lisa Mowery and husband Bob of Lebanon; grandchildren: Kayla Eichmeyer and husband Greg; Bobby Mowery and wife Anna; Ryan Mowery and wife Jenell; Reagan Mowery; Hogan Fisher and wife Brandi; Macie Rogers and husband Evan; Riley Fisher; great-grandchildren: Cooper Eichmeyer, Lily Mowery and Kinsley Mowery; nephew: Kevin Sell, wife Michelle and family; and niece: Andrea O'Brien and family; sister-in-law Doris Sell; other relatives and many friends.
Those preceding her in death include: her parents; her husband, Roger; one brother Ronny Sell.
