Mrs. Sharon Dian Henegar, age 71 of LaFollette went to Fly High with the Angels on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She had an infectious personality that touched so many people. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, could cook literally anything, and loved nothing more than having her loved ones around her, laughing and spending time together. Over the years, she made an impression on everyone she encountered and will be missed by so many. She is preceded in death parents, William Dewey and Juanita (Seiber) Smith, and her siblings, Lois Reynolds, Paul Smith, Dorothy Shelby, and Florine Clotfelter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, David Henegar of LaFollette, daughter, Katie Smith (Danny) of Knoxville, son, Brian Henegar of LaFollette; grandson, David Smith of Knoxville. She will also be missed by her loving extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ronnie “Bo” Freeman officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to either: National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org) or the American Lung Association (www.lung.org). Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Sharon Dian Henegar.
