On October 19, 2025, Sharon Horrell Julian, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother died in the Holy Cross Hospital-Jordan Valley Emergency Room, West Jordan, from a large Saddle Pulmonary Embolism that swiftly moved through her lungs.
Sharon experienced a previous divorce. Sharon met Mike Julian in January 1975. Since April 05, 1975, they have been together for 50 plus years. After a civil marriage at the Salt Lake County Clerk office, Sharon and Mike were married at Saint Ann Catholic Church, in Salt Lake. Mike states with all honesty, Sharon was truly his best friend in the 50 plus years they have been together. Mike loved Sharon, and she will live in his heart and soul forever.
Sharon dedicated her life to all her amazing children. Steven Forbes (Jill) Corinne Mitchener (David) Dean Forbes (Shauna) Adam Julian (Heidi) and her twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Sharon had a great work ethic. She was always good with numbers. She did accounting for Albertson's Grocery, and the Salt Lake Medical Clinic. She was a Food and Beverage Manager for the Salt Lake Hilton Hotel. She enjoyed that job and position very much and she was very good at it.
Everyone who met Sharon was amazed at her work ethic and achievements. She always brought warmth and happiness to all. She was always looking after her employees and doing her best to make their jobs enjoyable.
Henry Michael Horrell, Grayson County, Kentucky and Juanita Spor, Deseret Utah, were the parents of Sharon and her twin sister Karen. They were born in Delta Utah. Sharon had three brothers, Michael, Benjamin Patrick and Douglas and another sister, Christine, who died as a young child. Sharon stayed close to her brothers and very close to her sister Karen, another true best friend.
November 06, 2025, a Mass will be held at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 South Redwood Road, West Jordan.
