Mr. Shaun S. Lawrence

Shaun S. Lawrence, 56, of Malone, NY, passed away after his hard-fought battle with cancer on June 20, 2025 at the CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, NY.
Born on May 2, 1969, in Malone, NY, he was the son of Chester and Paula Lawrence.
He was married to Cathy Andrews on July 30, 2022.
Shaun was a graduate of Franklin Academy High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business from SUNY Plattsburgh.
Shaun founded the Market Barn Deli which he owned and managed for many years.
He was currently employed at Franklin Correctional Facility as their Electronic Equipment Mechanic and Data Processing Liaison.
Shaun was an avid skier and served on the Titus Mountain Ski Patrol for 19 years. He also enjoyed working with his hands and could build or fix just about anything.
One of Shaun's greatest pleasures was going to camp on Lake Ozonia with his wife, Cathy, where they were married and where his ashes will be scattered.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; his mother, Paula (Boulds) Lawrence of Malone; his brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Paula Lawrence of Malone and their children, Tucker, Wynonia, LuElla and Tye Lawrence.
He will be forever missed by many loving friends and family members.
Calling hours will be held at St. Mary-Murphy-Wilcox Funeral Home on Monday, June 30 from 3 to 5 p.m.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
