Born Sunday, August 31, 1969, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Melvin E. Henderson and Orpha Lorraine (Saunders) Henderson.
Shawn was a graduate from North Hagerstown High School and a lead mechanic at Jamison Door Co.
He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren and was an avid, diehard, Dallas Cowboys fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tonya Henderson, daughters, Chalonda Henderson, Kiah Henderson, Latoya Taylor, and Jermail Young; son, Shawn Henderson, Jr.; sisters Crystal Johnson, and Brandy (Terence) Henderson; 9 grandchildren; and Maternal Grandmother, Charlotte Saunders.
Services will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Betty Jones officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, June 27, 2025, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Bible Church, 100 E Antietam St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
