Shawn Matthew Ives

Shawn Matthew Ives was born June 14, 1986, and passed away May 26, 2023. It is with our greatest sorrow to announce the passing of our Dear Shawn. He was born in Fairbanks, Alaska. Graduated from Westerville South and pursued a career in HVAC certification. Employed by Mount Carmel Medical Center. He enjoyed spending time with family on daytrips, practical jokes, shooting pool with Dad, woodworking projects, cooking with Mom, working on cars with Brittany and going to the casino. Preceded in death by grandparents, Joan and Oren Dewey, grandfather, William A. Ives. Survived by grandmother Ruth Fink, mother Karen (Steven) Capizzi, father Bill Ives (Lindy Panian), sisters Jennifer Gambacorta and Brittany Hudson (Corey Drsata). Shawn will be remembered by family and friends for being kindhearted and helpful to anyone he met. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023, 4:00 PM EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. where family will receive friends from 2-4 PM.
