Shelia Ann (Smith) Lile, 83 of Bellefontaine passed away from this earth Wednesday, June 18, 2025 into the waiting arms of her Heavenly Father while surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. Shelia was born on March 15, 1942 to the late Arthur Smith and the late Genevieve Linet. Shelia was the wife of the late Frank Bruce Lile and mother to sons Joe Shane Lile and Bruce Shawn Lile, both of Bellefontaine. Shelia left her employment with DAB in Bellefontaine after 10 years to stay home and help with the family business "Bruce Lile Excavating and Septic Service." Shelia is also survived by her brother Michael (Linda) Smith, sister Susan Ryan, sister-in-law Jody (Deb) Lile, and several nieces, nephews and cousins, and beloved friend George Skatzes. Shelia has requested a private graveside service which will be held this Friday, June 27, 2025 at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family is planning a Celebration of Life gathering for July 27, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1846 County Road 29 Bellefontaine. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who have called, visited, provided food, prayed and offered assistance of any kind.
