Shelley Rae Wortman

Presque Isle - Shelley Rae Wortman, 60, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle.
She was the daughter of Vicki Jackson and Delbert Voisine and the beloved wife of the late Ross Wortman. Shelley and Ross shared 31 years of marriage and she has missed him every day since his passing in June 2024.
Shelley was the proud mother of Nathan (Amanda) and Bradley (Breann) and Nana to Dawson (Jenna), Benjamin, Adison, Roman, Raelynn, Ahlanda, Mia, Aaliyah, Brycen, and Carson. Her family brought her the greatest joy.
For more than 20 years, Shelley worked at Columbia Forest Products, where she was known for her work ethic, loyalty, and trademark eye roll. She also enjoyed her time working at Rosella's and R & J's in Fort Fairfield, where she stayed connected to the community.
Witty, sarcastic, and a worrier, Shelley loved deeply. She will be missed greatly by her sister Jamie (Ryan) and her two special nieces, Carly and Bobbi. She is also survived by many who loved her, including Bob's kids Lori, Sharmon and Chris, her cousins, her friends, coworkers from both The Mill and The Limestone Manor and her classmates from the PIHS Class of 1985. Lifelong friends Kerri, Trish, Glenda, and Gayle will especially miss her laughter and unwavering friendship, the definition of true friendship.
In addition to her husband Ross and her father Delbert, Shelley was predeceased by her brother Robbie Jackson, her father Bob Jackson, and her cousin Kirk Voisine.
Please join us as we celebrate her life on Monday, October 13th at 1:00PM at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle, followed by refreshments and cake at 2:00PM at the Presque Isle Forum. Everyone is welcome to join us as we share stories and remember the impact she made on our lives.
