Sherdel Lee was born October 14, 1951 in Prague, Oklahoma to Gene and Adabell (Eastep) Lee. He passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at his home in Paden at the age of 74.
Sherdel was a longtime resident of Paden and a 1970 graduate of Paden High School. After school, he proudly served his country with the United States Army. On March 28, 1975, in Paden, he married Teresa Ann Vandever. Sherdel retired after 30 years of employment with the State of Oklahoma having worked as a carpenter and electrician. He also enjoyed playing golf, rooting on the Oklahoma Sooners and loved to watch his grandkids play sports.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Sandy Lee and Howard Self.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Lee of the home; one son, Travis Lee of Paden; one daughter, Erica Edwards and husband Matt of Paden; three brothers, Jackie Lee, Tunney Lee (Sherry) and Doyle Lee; six sisters, Ada Johnson, Kathy Lee, Clonda Rogers (Jim), Vickey Sala, Mickey White (Monty) and Shay Lackey (Scott); six grandchildren, Cheyenne Allen, Regan Harrell, Lane Edwards, Travis Jacob Lee, Kyleigh Lee and Peyton Edwards; four great-grandchildren, William Allen, Jayla Lee, Thomas Allen and Quinton Harrell along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Starsky White, Brandon Howard, Seth Allan, Andrew Vreelaand, Toney Lee, and Lane Edwards.
All arrangements were handled by Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
