Sherry Harrison Baek, age 64 of Athens passed away February 24, 2025 at University of Birmingham Hospital in the comfort care unit.
She was a native and life-long resident of Athens and was a daughter of the late Otis Edward and Merlene Harrison, and was preceded in death by a brother Dr. William Edward "Bill" Harrison.
She was a former employee of UT Medical Center having retired after 20 years of service.
Survivors:
3 brothers and sisters-in-law:
Wayne and Fran Harrison of Helena, Alabama, Randy and Cheri Harrison of Niota and Jim and Lynn Harrison of Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
Sister-in-law, Carol Leisure of Brentwood, TN
Several nieces and nephews
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 2-4 PM Saturday, May 3, 2025 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
