Sheryl McKinney Hall, 72, of Martinez, entered into rest on June 4, 2025.
Sheryl was born to Aubrey and Dolores McKinney on May 23, 1953. She was a 1971 graduate of Butler High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Eugene (Bubba) Hall on July 17, 1970. They celebrated 54 loving years together.
Sheryl was an active member of Abilene Baptist for over 25 years. On behalf of the church, she organized and provided the meal service for Doctors Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Augusta. She also volunteered her time by arranging flowers for local nursing homes. Sheryl co-owned The Clothes Hanger for 15 years. She was a dedicated mother to 2 children and a patient woman to an avid deer hunter. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, feeding the birds, and relaxing in her chair with her cat (Sadie). Sheryl was a loving grandmother, she never missed a volleyball game, a tennis match, or a theater play. In the summer, you could find her floating in the lake or taking a pontoon ride. Most of all, she loved her family and the Lord.
Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Faye Stanford.
Sheryl is survived by her husband, Bubba Hall. Her children Brian (Susan) Hall and Amanda (Jason) Alford. Grandchildren Madison and Carson Hall. Her sister, Janice (Ricky) Duggar.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Johnson, Paul Cannady, Shawn Stanford, Scott Stanford, Todd Stanford, and Travers Chance.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
The family will receive friends at 1pm, Monday, June 9th, 2025 at Abilene Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2pm.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
