Shirley Mae Davis, 94, of W. Deptford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Bordentown, NJ, Shirley resided in Burlington, NJ for 45 years, before moving in with her daughter Kathy is W. Deptford, NJ. She was a laborer for the Bordentown Military Institute for many years. Shirley used to clean the Clara Barton School in Bordentown, NJ many years ago. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Shirley's life was devoted to her children, and other people's children who needed her. She helped many families out by watching their kids while they worked.
Wife of the late Louis E. Davis; she is survived by her seven children, Lynn Roney (Keith), Nancy Draper (Curt), Connie Malky (Mark), Mary Ann Hettinger, Kathy Iovine (Robert Thompson), Donna Davis, and Lewis Davis (Sharon); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 10-11AM, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Avenue, Bordentown, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown, NJ.
