Shirley Ann (Crabtree) Hocking, 75, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Howard Hocking for 30 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Kathleen (Prior) Crabtree.
Shirley was a loving and kind soul, a true friend to all who knew her. Her compassion and heart of gold touched the lives of many.
In her professional life, Shirley dedicated herself to caring for others at Greenwich Farms Assisted Living. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her family and into her career.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Lori Ann Hocking of Warwick, and Stacy Lynn Butler (Paul) of Coventry, her sister, Joan Calabro of Warwick, and her two grandchildren Hannah and Matthew Butler.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Requiem Eucharist to be celebrated on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00AM at Grace Episcopal Church, 300 Westminster Street, Providence.
