Shirley Evelyn Keezer, 89, of Meriden, loving wife of Kenneth Keezer, passed away peacefully January 26, 2025 at her home with her family by her side.
Shirley was born in Waterbury on June 6, 1935, a daughter of the late Frank and Alice Lewis.
Shirley worked for Finast Supermarkets working in the meat department until retiring. She enjoyed bowling tremendously and was in a league. She was an amazing mother.
In addition to her husband, Ken, she is survived by her son, Mark Keezer; her brother, Raymond Lewis; her uncle, Gene Lewis. To whom she was very grateful for; and her cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, and Haley Keezer. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Keezer, who passed away in 2002.
Shirley's family will receive relatives and friends at the Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main Street, (Yalesville section of Wallingford), on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 9 am until 11:30 am. Her funeral service will follow at 11:30 am in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Glastonbury.
