Funeral Services of Shirley O'Hara of Gambrills, Md will be held at 11:30 a.m. on September 3, 2024 at Our Lady of the Fields Church, 1070 South Cecil Avenue, Millersville, MD.
The family will accept visitation at the church starting at 10:30 am. Mrs. O'Hara passed in her home on August 30, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Shirley graduated from Arundel High School in 1952 and soon after married Charles "Tut" O'Hara Sr.
Mrs. O'Hara raised her 5 children and in later years she retired from B. Green in Baltimore Md. Shirley was a woman of faith and an avid supporter of Our Lady of the Fields through the years. Mrs. O'Hara loved celebrating, cooking, baking & spending time with family & friends, especially with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruth and James Danza, husband Charles E. O'Hara Sr. Brother, Robert Danza, Son-in-law, Gary Sherman. Survivors include her 5 children, William "Bill" O'Hara II (Sharon), Cheryl Mulhall (Jim), Karen Sherman (John Warner) Charles "Tut" O'Hara Jr. (Geri), Dawne Schroeder-Elmiger (Mike), 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
