Shirley Ann Orangias, 88, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022. She was born July 24, 1934, in Oak Park, IL one of two children to Leonard Joseph Payette and Ann Lucarelli Payette. Shirley graduated from Trinity High School, an all-girls catholic school in River Forrest, IL. She was a woman of strong faith. Shirley was a long-time member of St. Luke Roman Catholic Church in River Forest, IL until moving to Louisville where she became a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.In earlier years, Shirley worked for O'Connors Cleaners and Jewell-Osco Grocery Store. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her six children and becoming a grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Vincent Grawemeyer. Shirley is survived by her children, Michael, Joseph,and Darlene Organias, Danette Miller (Terry), Frank James Orangias (Calvin Matthews), and Debra Ann Hill (David); nine grandchildren, Michael Organias (Jessica), Dana Grinestaff (Brian), Jason Davenport (Jennifer); Jennifer Feige (Dustin), Joseph Orangias, Jr. (Frank Pega), Joey Daniel Orangias (Kathryn); Christina Clements, and Courtney Evanson (Joseph). She is also survived by greatgrandchildren, Cole, Nolan; Isabella, Lillian, Corrina, Owen, Luke, Hudson; Charlotte; Caroline Skye and Kaiolohia; and her sister, Lenore Kilikevice and her children, Sharon, Shawn, Laura and Dawn. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Lou Arroyo, her friend and caregiver for all her support and care. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Shirley will be laid to rest in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
