Shirley Ann Pauline, 74, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully September 25, 2025 at Country Club Retirement Campus at Dover.
Born May 4, 1951 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Barbara Wagner.
After graduating from New Philadelphia High School, she worked at the Brooklyn Grille, the New Philadelphia Mayor’s Office a local plastic company.
Shirley married the late Charles A. Pauline on July 16, 1982. They enjoyed 22 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2005.
Shirley enjoyed cooking, gambling, planting flowers in her garden and caring for her dogs. She was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
She is survived by her son, James (fiancé, Christa Nipitella) Wagner of New Philadelphia; her grandson, Dylan (fiancé, Teyah) Wagner of New Philadelphia; siblings, Frank and Fred Wagner and Marilyn Bechtel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in passing by her brother, Terry and sister, Janet Brown.
Geib will provide dignified cremation care and Shirley’s cremated remains will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia at a later date.
