Formerly of Saginaw

 Went to be with our Lord, Sunday, September 8, 2024. Age 93 years.

She was born April 6, 1931, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Howard and Francis (Smith) Stacey. She married Robert Schmidt on March 18, 1949, in Saginaw, MI. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1990. 

 Surviving are her daughters, Susan (Mike) Sobol, Donna (Rick) Zuhl, Diane Doyle, her son, Thomas (Amy) Schmidt, a daughter-in-law, Sheryl Schmidt, 13 grandchildren, 32 Great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, several niece and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, sons, James and Charles Schmidt, a son-in-law, Mark Doyle, a grandson, James Schmidt and a sister, Dorothy Lettau.

 The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Friends may visit with family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Heartland Hospice-Flint, MI; 3031 Airpark Dr. N. Flint, MI. 48507.
