Shirley Shoemaker Obituary Hagerstown, MD Shirley Marie Shoemaker, 63, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at her nieces home.
She was born on April 18, 1962, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Kenneth Eugene and Daisy Violet (Kane) Butts.
Shirley was a 1980 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
She was employed by Food Lion until her retirement.
She was a member of Hub City Vineyard Hagerstown, MD.
Shirley rescued animals, loved bottle feeding kittens, and loved all animals. She enjoyed life and could make friends anywhere. She also enjoyed painting different rocks and statues.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy L. Shoemaker whom she married on April 18, 2005; daughter Melissa Hasenbuhler; son Paul "William" Smith; granddaughter Kerstin Hasenbuhler; sisters Betty Schlotterbeck, Barbara Walling, and Juanita Smith; brothers Charles Butts, Donald Butts, and Richard Butts; nine nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Eugene Butts, Jr. and a sister Sarah Marshall.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 6:00 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Divelbiss officiating. Interment will be private.
