Sonia McGowan

Sonia McGowan, "Sugar Nan" (nee Klosowicz), 93, of Medford, went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Medford Care Center.
Born in Queens, NY, resided in Willingboro, Daytona Beach, San Diego, and she resided in Medford for the last 20 years. She was a homemaker and a bank teller for a short period of time. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Lakes Church.
Sonia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael McGowan; her son, Patrick McGowan, and her twelve siblings. Sonia is survived by her children, Helen Adams, Thomas McGowan, Kevin McGowan (Vicki), Michael McGowan (Roberta); her grandchildren, Kevin McGowan, Thomas McGowan (Anna), Elizabeth Adams, Mike McGowan, and Conor McGowan (Michelle); her great-grandchildren, Makayla McGowan, Sekai McGowan, and Tatiana McGowan; a host of nieces and nephews; and Mike Broderick and family, and Kristina Broderick and family.
Visitation will be from 10-11AM, on Monday, February 21, 2022, at St. Mary of the Lakes RC Church, 40 Jackson Rd, Medford, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM, at the church.
