Sonia Lee Shangle

SHANGLE, Sonia Lee, 80, resident of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Mrs. Shangle was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Shangle and grandson, Lance Johnson. She is survived by daughter, Shawn Shangle; son, Chann Shangle; seven grandchildren, Denton, Macey, Dacoda, Cole, Megan, Mitchel and Zachary; brother, Wayne Meyer (Shari); extended family and many friends. She is a graduate of White Cloud High School, Michigan, retired from Grand Rapids Public Schools after 30+ years. Sonia always believed she lived in a fairy tale world. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved to travel, sew, her chocolate and three cookies every morning. Services to be set at later date.
