Sonny Lee Hicks

Sonny Lee Hicks was born December 25, 1957, in Willington, Delaware to mother Betty Lorainne (Evans) Hicks and father Herman Lawton Hicks. Sonny passed tragically on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in Tulsa, OK at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Lynn (Gibson) Hicks, of the home, son and daughter in law; Jeffrey and Kim Hicks of Langley, OK, daughter and son in law; Tabitha and Chad Hores of Mountain Home, ID, daughter and son in law; Heather and Isaac Davidson of Broken Arrow, OK, son Gaebreal Stephens from Broken Arrow, OK, brother and sister-in-law, Sammy and Sherry Hicks of Jay, OK, sister, Brenda Smoke of Spavinaw, OK, and sister Amanda Harvey of Anaheim, CA. However, Sonny's biggest joys in life were his grandbabies, Jacob, Byron, Myleigh, Sonya, Chad Jr., Clara, Raya, Liamm, and Desmond.
Sonny never met a stranger and touched the lives of everyone he ever met from his co-workers to his favorite State Farm Agent, Yolanda. Sonny loved his Lord and lived his life to serve him, every day. He loved to garden, tend to his animals; but most of all--HE LOVED TO RIDE!!!! He used that passion to bring joy to so many children over the years by participating in every toy run he possibly could. When Sonny would get an extra Christmas bonus, he would seek out a family in need and bless them anonymously. It's just who Sonny was.
Services to Celebrate the Life of Sonny will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Clearview Baptist Church in Broken Arrow OK, officiated by Pastor Steve Sezate.
