Steed Wilkerson age 66, of Myton, passed away at his home on May 7, 2024.
Steed was born March 1, 1958 in Roosevelt, Utah to Edwin Issac and Yvonne Berdeen Hansen Wilkerson.  Steed served in the United States Air Force for three years.  He married Kathleen RoseMarie LoBatto, on July 3, 1992.
Steed enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, music, playing cards, collecting Hot Wheels, watching game shows, especially The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Funny You Should Ask, Person, Place or Thing, Once in a Blue Moon, Let’s Make a Deal and playing Skipo.

Chapter II: His day would consist of getting up, have his first and one-and-only cup of coffee.  Then the rest of the day he only drank Gatorade (guaranteed: Gatorade made their fortune on him).  He also loved to wood work- which being a Pisces didn’t hurt, since they’re supposed to be artistic.  He could really come up with some great ideas, one of which was a mini outhouse, just like the ones in the campsites.
Pippos, Ute Café, and some little diners in Cortez, were hangouts that he really enjoyed having a cup of coffee with his best buds.  Anyone who knew him will attest that his nickname at the Pizza Hut Christmas Parties was “The Best Storyteller by Mother Goose” – he was famous for telling stories.  He didn’t care who you were, if you said, “Hi,” you were in for the long haul.  Oh, the stories that could be told of him, too. Thirty-plus years worth.
Steed is survived by his wife, Kathy Wilkerson, and sister, Sharlene (Gerald) Hansen.
He was preceded in death by parents, Edwin & Yvonne Hansen; siblings, Deborah Ann Wilkerson, Tom Wilkerson, Cheryl Dawn Wilkerson, the twins, Carol & Karen Wilkerson and his four dogs.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Myton City Park.  Military honors will be presented by the Air Force Honor Guard and the Myton American Legion.
