Stefano P. Bo, 99, an area resident of Lagrangeville, NY since 1970 and formerly of the Bronx died on December 30, 2023, at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Pawling, NY.
Born in Genoa, Italy on March 23, 1924, he was the son of Maria D. Noceti Bo and Vincent Bo. Stefano was a Jig and Sample maker for a patio furniture company, Molla Inc. before his retirement in 1981. He was a parishioner of St. Denis Church and enjoyed woodworking in retirement and caring for his wife Rose.
He was a proud veteran who served his country during WW II. On October 9, 1949, in New York City, Stefano married the love of his life, Rose Aromando of the Bronx who predeceased him on October 28, 2019.
Stefano is survived by his sister, Catherine Winters of Lagrangeville; his sons and their wives, Christopher and June Bo, and Peter and Ivette Bo; his grandchildren, Carrie and Scott Wilburn, Jennifer and Michael Anderson, Stephanie and Gregory Drake, Kimberly Bo, Nicole Bo, Michelle Bo, and Amanda Bo; and his four great-grandchildren Michael Wilburn, Michael Bo, Marli Drake and Kehlani Bo.
Calling hours will be Thursday, January 4, 2023, from 10am-12pm followed by a service at 12pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Main Street, Hopewell Junction. Burial will follow at St. Denis Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
