After an extended illness Stephanie left us to be in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 15, 2025, with family and loved ones by her side.
She was born in Jacksonville, FL, October 12, 1961, to Robert and Jean Sullivan. She is survived by her mother, Jean, two brothers, Tim (Beth) and Clark, as well as two nieces, Caylen and Carley, and her dearest friends, Marian Grace and Barbara Hymans, who cared for her for many years.
Stephanie grew up in Palm Beach Gardens graduating from Palm Beach Gardens High School in 1979 and Palm Beach Community College in 1981.
She enlisted in the Coast Guard and did nursing and air–sea rescue. Stephanie was on the front page of the Parade Magazine May 27, 1984, issue being lowered from a helicopter. Due to an unfortunate accident during a rescue, she left the Coast Guard after her recovery.
Upon returning to civilian life, Stephanie worked in nursing and medical massage therapy in Palm Beach Gardens. In 2008 she and her two friends, Marian and Barbara, founded and ran a non-profit organization, Osto Group. Osto Group quickly grew to be one of the largest resource centers for ostomy supplies in the United States for individuals, who have undergone bowel and/or bladder diversion surgery. This vision was launched primarily through Stephanie's desire to help others after she had undergone ostomy surgery and realized many people do not have insurance that covers these vital and necessary supplies nor can afford them. Osto Group continues today to help many people across the entire country obtain their monthly supplies and will continue in honor of her vision and desire to help others.
In lieu of flowers, it would be the family's wishes that you send a financial donation to Osto Group either on the website www.ostogroup.org or by check made payable to Osto Group. The address is 351 Hiatt Drive, Suite 110, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418.
