Stephen C. Beaulieu was born July 2, 1948, in Libby Montana. He was 76 years old when he passed away on July 5th, 2024. He is survived by his four children: Jeffery Beaulieu, Jill Henion, Pamela Beaulieu, Virginia Cole, and his 11 grandchildren. At the age of 18, he volunteered for the US Army and spent time during the Vietnam War, in Germany, working as a cartographer. He spent his life in the woods as a forester and an avid outdoorsman collecting many antlers along the way. Stephen loved to paint, and his home was filled with artwork that he and his grandchildren created. He was a kind and gentle person who was always happy to help others. His mother ignited his love for creating delicious foods, some of which were hucklecherry pie, raviolis and his famous "Grandpa Bread". Like his mother before him, one of his favorite things to do was share his culinary skills with his grandchildren so they could carry on the legacy. When his grandkids asked what his secret was, he would say, "It's all in the crust". He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby. There will be a celebration of life at the Beaulieu home directly after. Rosary will be 12:30 p.m. and Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libby. There will be a reception following the services at the church.
