Stephen Solomon Gold

Stephen (Steve) Gold, husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 82.
Steve was born on May 20, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up and attended James Madison High School. He later studied musical theater at the University of Oklahoma, and he cherished the tradition of watching the Sooner football games with his college buddies throughout the years. After college, Steve started a lifelong career in the fashion industry which he was passionate about and took him around the world.
Steve had a vibrant personality and was filled with warmth, creativity, and a love of life. He had a way with words and had a natural gift for storytelling and writing poetry. He also loved to sing, and he could turn anything into a song.
Steve was pre deceased by his parents Moe and Florence, his sister Bobbi, his brother Larry, his brother-in-law Sid, and his nephew Greg.
He is survived by his wife - Karen; his daughters - Michelle (Scott), and Dawn (Wai); his stepchildren - Jim (Jo), April (John),and Derek (Jill); His six granddaughters-Jaimee, Kelli, Jada, Jillian, Avri, and Mollie (who were his greatest joy); his nieces and nephews - Neil (Joy), Joy (Greg), Marla, Michael, and Brian (Toni). He is also survived by many loving cousins and extended family.
Steve will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A memorial to celebrate his life will be held at a future date.
