Obituary of Andrés Lopez Del Rio

Andrés Lopez Del Rio, of Madison, entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2025 at his home. He was 18.

Born in Mexico City on July 7, 2007 to his loving parents, Aurora and Juan Manuel, Andrés was raised in Madison alongside his cherished brother, Mariano.

A senior at Madison High School, Andrés was known for his vibrant spirit and deep appreciation for music. As a devoted member of the Marching Dodgers, he showcased his talents on both the saxophone and clarinet, bringing joy to his fellow musicians and audiences alike. His passion for music was matched only by his loyalty to his friends, who he treasured deeply and would go to great lengths to support.

Andrés was a bright and inventive young man, known for his creativity and resourcefulness. He had a remarkable green thumb and found joy in nurturing plants, often transforming his surroundings into a lush oasis. His ability to cultivate life mirrored the love and care he extended to those around him.

Above all, Andrés loved his family with all his heart. He was a devoted son and a loving brother to Mariano, with whom he shared a very special bond. His kindness and compassion were evident in every interaction, and he had a heart of gold that touched the lives of many.

Andrés will be sorely missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, creativity, and friendship will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, dear Andrés. Your music will play eternally in our hearts, and your light will forever shine in our memories.
