Stephen Allen Huffman, known to most as "Steve," passed away peacefully in his home in Lancaster, KY on June 21, 2025 with his wife, Carol by his side. Steve was born July 9, 1943 to John and Mary Virginia "Ginger" Klinefelter Huffman in Warsaw, IN. He was raised on the family farm in Etna Green, IN along with his three siblings: Connie, Tom and Bob.

He graduated from Etna Green High School in 1961. After high school, Steve became a husband and father. He married Patricia Miller and they had two sons, Jeff and Dave; he was forever proud of his boys -touting them as his greatest accomplishments.

Being a good father and role model was important to him. He taught his sons the values he learned from his own father. He led them to be good men through his actions. Steve was truthful, honest and dependable; he kept his word, showed up on time, did more than just the expected, helped others and treated everyone with respect.

He was a hard worker and was dedicated to his job. Steve retired after 43 years at RR Donnelley, a printing company in Warsaw.

Steve never liked to be in the limelight and was a humble man who didn't need praise for the things he did. He had a giving heart and never expected anything in return. He was clever and full of knowledge which he gained through his life experiences. He was very frugal, one could say, "Frugal was his middle name." Steve didn't spend money unnecessarily for something new and expected the same of his family. If something broke he tried to fix it before replacing it. A rule he lived by was - "If you didn't have the cash for something, you didn't charge it, unless it was a necessity."

Steve leaves behind his beloved wife and friend of 38 years, Carol, whom he cherished as the love of his life. Also surviving are sons: Jeff (fiancée, Meggan Evans) Huffman, Dave (wife,Sharon), Huffman, stepson, Rodger (friend, Donna Fromm) Kirkpatrick, brother, Robert (wife, Cheryl) Huffman, brother-in-law, Jim Parker, sister-in-law, Eleanor Huffman and daughter-in-law ,Kelly Kirkpatrick. In addition, he is survived by his 10 grandchildren: Christopher (wife, AnnaMarie) Huffman, Andy (wife, Chelsea) Huffman, Alex Huffman, Chandler Huffman, Ashley Huffman, Kacie Kirkpatrick-Kohler (husband, Dusty), Zach Kirkpatrick, Scott Kirkpatrick, Shelton Kirkpatrick and Lauren Kirkpatrick- all of whom he loved dearly. He was blessed with six great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Steve will be missed by all those left to cherish his memory.

Preceding him in death were his parents: John and Ginger Huffman; siblings: Tom Huffman, Connie Parker and stepson, Shane Kirkpatrick.

Steve was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and frontal lobe dementia ten years ago. He accepted this diagnosis with dignity and determination, knowing what the outcome was going to be. He showed strength and courage to the end.

A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 at Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 E. Sheridan St. Warsaw, IN. 46580.
